1. Who We Are

Mr Ride is a taxi fleet operator based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We manage a fleet of licensed taxi vehicles serving the Dubai metropolitan area through partnerships with ride-hailing platforms including Yango, Uber, Bolt, and Careem.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Driver Information

We collect and process the following data about drivers employed by or contracted with Mr Ride:

• Full name, contact phone number, and email address
• Driver's license number and expiration date
• Emirates ID or passport identification
• Vehicle assignment (license plate, make, model)
• Employment contract details and compensation terms
• Bank account or payment information for salary disbursement

2.2 Operational Data from Ride-hailing Platforms

Through authorized API integrations, we retrieve the following data from third-party ride-hailing services (Yango, Uber, Bolt, Careem):

• Trip records: pickup time, drop-off time, distance, fare amount, payment method
• Driver online/offline status and shift duration
• Transaction records: platform commissions, tips, bonuses, toll charges
• Vehicle assignment confirmations

We do not collect or process personally identifiable passenger information. Pickup and drop-off addresses are stored only when provided by the platforms for trip verification.

2.3 Technical Data

When operators access our system, we may record:

• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Access timestamps and IP address (for security audit only)

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely for legitimate business purposes:

• Payroll and accounting — calculating driver earnings, commissions, and fleet revenue
• Tax compliance — generating reports required by UAE tax authorities
• Fleet operations — vehicle assignment, shift scheduling, performance monitoring
• Regulatory compliance — RTA Dubai reporting and audit requirements
• Driver support — resolving disputes, verifying trip details
• Service improvement — identifying operational inefficiencies

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With drivers — each driver can access their own earnings, trip history, and contract details
• With ride-hailing platforms — to verify driver identity and resolve trip disputes
• With regulatory authorities — when required by UAE law (RTA, tax authorities, law enforcement)
• With service providers — payment processors, accounting firms, and cloud hosting providers under strict confidentiality agreements

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure (Netlify, with TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit). API credentials and authentication tokens are stored using industry-standard encryption.

Access to the CRM is restricted to authorized Mr Ride personnel through secure authentication. Audit logs are maintained for all data access events.

6. Data Retention

We retain data for the following periods:

• Trip and transaction records — 7 years (UAE tax law requirement)
• Driver employment records — Duration of employment plus 5 years
• Technical access logs — 12 months

7. Driver Rights

Drivers employed by or contracted with Mr Ride have the right to:

• Access their personal data on file
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request a copy of their trip and earnings history
• Be informed about how their data is used

8. Third-Party API Use

Our system integrates with the following third-party services under their respective terms:

• Yango Fleet API — for retrieving trip and transaction data of drivers operating on the Yango platform under our fleet account
• Uber Fleet API — for retrieving trip and earnings data of drivers operating under our Uber Fleet partner account (pending agreement approval)
• Bolt and Careem — planned future integrations

We access only data related to drivers authorized to operate under Mr Ride's fleet accounts on these platforms. We comply with all platform terms of service and data handling requirements.

9. Cookies

Our CRM uses essential browser storage (localStorage) to remember operator preferences (language, sort order, table column selections). We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics that share data with external parties.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to fleet operators via internal channels. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai.
